Anyone who's heart rate races with the sight of a sleek sports car or the vision of a vintage classic car had better be prepared to have their pulse checked on Saturday, August 17 in the beautiful Village of Egg Harbor.
The Door County Sports & Classics Car Show runs from 10am to 3pm.
Sponsored by the Egg Harbor Business Association, the Door County Sports & Classics Car Show is a judged event, with winners to be selected in 12 categories - plus a "People's Choice" award.
The setting is special ... as the entire Village of Egg Harbor is the venue. There will be cars parked in Harbor View Park - overlooking the Bay of Green Bay, as well as the parking lots at Baylake Bank and Signature Pieces.
Our first year (2012), we had 50 cars. Looking forward to even more in 2013.
Sports cars of every age are eligible to be displayed. Classis cars must be model year 1979 or older. Registration is $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event. Register from 8-9:45am at Lena's parking lot (across from Liberty Square Shops) - south end of Egg Harbor.
We'll have a DJ at each parking area - playing tunes all day long. Great fun hearing the top 100 car songs, and seeing many of the classics.
Join us for the fun, either as a spectator or as a participant.
