Door County Fireboat Cruises

Enjoy tales of bold ship captains, brave seamen, innovative
shipbuilders, rugged fishermen and stalward lighthouse keepers -
sea stories abound! The Sturgeon Bay museum, situated between the
downtown bridges, offers the captivating exhibit "Ghosts! Haunted
Lighthouses of the Great Lakes" as well as tours of the
immaculately restored Tug John Purves, moored adjacent to
the museum. No trip to Door County is complete without a stop at
the iconic Cana Island Lighthouse near Baileys Harbor - its
spectacular tower climb is a must do! Complete your maritime
history experience by walking the decks of the commercial fishing
tug Hope at the Maritime Museum in Gills Rock. Come see
us! Sturgeon Bay location is open 9am-6pm in-season (Memorial Day
to Labor Day); 10am-5pm off-season.
